Hi,
arent there problems when deleting a record if you use two computers?

Anyways, I always have to clear out the PC Name on my Palm Tungsten T3 if I want to do network hotsync, because it doesnt find my PC otherwise.
It looks as if it tries to DNS lookup the machine name, and gives up even if you give it an IP! When it connects, it writes in the name again, so go to top…

Best regards
Tam Hanna

I’m sorry. I only own one Palm and although I have a network at home, don’t hotsync with different computers on the network. So, I don’t really know the answer to your problem.

You may find some helpful info from Palm’s support page for Hotsync, especially at bottom, under Troubleshooting: Network Hotsync. This kb solution #5570 may be helpful. As well as this old article from Palm Power may have some info. Sorry I can’t be of much help.

Oops. Forgot to post the link to Palm’s hotsync support. Here it is. As well, I find that Brighthand’s forums and 1src (I notice you pop in often) can provide lots of help. But I’m sure you know your way to sources on the web.
