I can’t understand why it hasn’t been set up as a default button in the Treo’s Favorites page since it’s something that most Treo owners would want to have, the capability to look up a list of calls and look up details of it.

Anyway, the capability is there. You just need to set it up and I’m going to show you how to do it.

Simply open up your Phone Application.

Bring up the Menu by pressing on the Menu button (top right hardware button) above the Messaging (envelope) button.

Select Edit Favorites Pages from the menu options.

Tap on any empty box. It will bring up another screen.

Under “Type”, tap on the drop down menu. Select “Call Log”. If you wish to create a Quick key to launch the Call Log, you can do so under the “Quick Key”. Pressing and holding the key will bring up the Call Log.

Tap “Ok”. Tap “Done”.

And as usual, here’s a simulation to show the same process.

The simulation will play through to the end unless I’ve inserted a pop up note to explain specific points.

To continue playing the simulation, press the or button.
To go back to a previous paused segment, click on the or button.
To pause the simulation at any time, press the button. To continue after it’s paused, press the button again.

To scroll forward or backward in the simulation, click anywhere on the left (to go back earlier in the simulation), or right (to go forward in the simulation) on the progress bar.
