Please vote for your favorite contest entry

We are no longer accepting any contest entries submission. Thank you for taking the time to submit your entries. We will now hold a vote for your favorite contest entry. Please read the twelve entries and vote for your favorite contest entry.

You can vote for multiple entries but you can only vote only ONCE for each entry. Duplicate voting for the same submission will be removed. To vote for the entry, simply provide a comment indicating your vote for the specific contest entry directly underneath the relevant contest entry or comment here and I will make a vote on your behalf.

Here’s a list with a link to each of the twelve contest entries.

First Otterbox contest entry from Ken: I want one because “I’m hard on devices”

Second Otterbox contest entry: John wants it ‘in case it breaks’

Third Otterbox contest entry by Mark W: “Outdoorably Treo”

Fourth Otterbox Contest entry by Kevin: I want it to help “save lives”

Fifth Otterbox Contest Entry From Tom: “Otterbox Lust”

Sixth Otterbox contest entry: Please Help Me Keep My Phone Safe!

Seventh Otterbox Contest Entry: OtterBox Needed for Diving

Eighth Otterbox Contest Entry: I want to win it because “I’m a klutz”

Ninth Otterbox Contest Entry: An Otterbox To Save My TREO!

Tenth Otterbox Contest Entry: Rainy Day Treo…

Eleventh Otterbox Contest Entry: I Want It For My Klutzy Other Half

Twelfth Otterbox Contest Entry: From Ian, An Avid Windsurfer

Depending on the votes, and how the voting goes, there may be a second round of voting (if required).

Again, the winner will be required to submit proof of ownership of a Treo 650/700p/w/wx before the prize is shipped via regular mail with insurance. (I can’t afford using Fedex or other couriers).

The voting will be open until Sunday January 7th at 12 midnight PST.

Palm Discovery reserves the right to hold the final decision on the winner. The prize will be as awarded and no substitutions are allowed.

Palm Discovery Otterbox giveaway contest

Okay, here’s your chance to win the exact same Otterbox that I’ve reviewed here. I have left everything pretty much as new as I can have it (as I do with all my other product samples) and will be shipped pretty much in the same package that I received originally.

Here’s the details of the contest:

Write up your reasons for why you wish to win the Otterbox 1920 PDA Case for the Treo 650/700p/w and why you need it.

Please put Otterbox giveaway contest as the subject since I filter all emails and put in a Title at the top of the email so that the entries will have a distinctive title.

Send your submission to [name of this site all in one word] at gmail dot com (eg. nameofthissite@gmail.com ) Obviously, you are NOT going to send your contest entry to nameofthissite@gmail.com, right? Okay, if you still haven’t figured it out, Contact Me and I will give you the email address to send it to.

You can vote for a specific entry simply by adding a comment to the individual entry’s post. Keep in mind that the comments will be tracked (to prevent dupe voting and possible abuses). I will likely be having two rounds of voting to declare a winner so that it’s fair to all entries.

Deadline for contest submission is December 31st midnight PST (Pacific Standard Time). I will periodically be posting the submissions on the site as postings as they come in and will hold a vote from the readers of who will ultimately win the contest.

Special considerations will be given to those who can provide pictures of why they need such a case. You may also be required to submit proof that you own a Treo 650/700p/w

A HUGE THANKS to Kristen Golliher of Otterbox for allowing me to give this away to one special Palm Discovery reader.

Please keep in mind that I am paying out of my own pocket to ship the prize to the winner so I would be very appreciative if you could please support Palm Discovery by visiting and purchasing from amongst the various vendors and suppliers that I am an affiliate of. Those include: Audible.com, Boxwave, Handango, Palm US and others.
