A BIG THANKS to Sammy McLoughlin of Palm Addicts and Treobits for a recent mention of Palm Discovery in their front page regarding yesterday’s video review posting of the Treo 700wx. Here is Palm’s official flash tour of the Treo 700wx (of course, the link is to Palm’s page)

I often wonder why they don’t make it more obvious that there’s a cool promotional Flash demo that showcases the Treo 700wx (or any Palm device for that matter). (Okay, they have put in a link but they need to make it stand out more), just like what I’m doing with at least the image. Come on, Palm. You’ve got to impress people. Not everyone will necessarily “read” and click on everything on a page but if they “see” an image, they are more likely to click on it instead.

And here are some pics I took of the loaner Treo 700wx. Again, for a bigger picture, click on the thumbnail images.

Video of Treo 700wx Part 1

Part one will go over the basics of navigating around the Treo 700wx, using various buttons and the stylus. We will go over various parts of the Today screen and looking at various programs available for launching within the Today screen.

With all the information on this post already, I will have to break it up and continue on with the videos in part 2. Stay tuned!
