I just got my Treo 750 updated to Windows Mobile 6, well sort of. The phone is Windows Mobile but for some strange reason, the actual desktop upgrade wouldn’t finish because it kept saying that it’s not connected and that my Treo 750 keep saying that the desktop must have ActiveSync 4.5 installed. But, I DO have ActiveSync 4.5 installed! I re-installed, uninstalled several times with the same outcome. Sigh. Well, it syncs okay but the only problem is that it still shows up as 1.16 RWE ROM instead of the 2.23 RWE. But if things work, heck, whatever. Maybe someone may have some ideas why this is happening?
With Windows Mobile 6, it’s like night and day! Windows Mobile 5 can be extremely slow to load, especially Audible. Sometimes I can’t even load the screen. With Windows Mobile 6, it’s certainly a lot snappier so I’m happy about that.
