Okay, I’m a bit late on the May Day (but I needed a title), so that’s why it’s the “May Day” giveaway.

This provides me with the opportunity to not only do a review and also give it away to the lucky Palm Discovery readers. So everyone wins! I will be giving away the following cases:

JAVOEdge’s JAVOShield aluminum case I recently reviewed it here which fits the Treo 750, 680, 755p and 750v. This is no longer available from JAVOEdge but you’ll still be able to get it here.

The deadline for this giveaway is: May 16th Midnight PST (Pacific Standard Time). I will announce and notifiy the winner on Monday May 19th and the winner must respond or contact me before midnight Wednesday May 21 or I will re-draw another winner.

CONTEST RULES

1 - One entry per prize per person. You can enter once for each prize so that you increase your chance to win one prize but you must make a separate comment for each prize. To receive 5 entries for each prize (ie. 15 entries in all), you can provide a Palm Explorer Profile for one prize, a personal story for another, and a tips and tricks submission for the last prize.

To make it fair for everyone, no duplicate entries for the same prize will be accepted and if a contestant has been found to be in breach of this, all his/her entries will be disqualified.

Since I moderate and approve all comments before they’re posted, please do not re-submit your comments.

2 - The contest is available to everyone all over the world (because I hate being excluded from many great contests that only applies to US residents or anywhere else). Palm Discovery will NOT be responsible or held liable for any fees, loss, damages that may occur with the prize or its acceptance. That means I will not be responsible for lost mail, or if your local country or authorities impose any fees, duties on it or refuse to release it to you for whatever reason.

3 - Prizes will be awarded as drawn. Absolutely no substitutions allowed. All decisions are final.

4 - Palm Discovery will randomly draw a winner (or winners if applicable) from all eligible entries received before the contest deadline. Palm Discovery will make every effort to notify and announce the winner(s) in a future posting and via email. Please ensure that you submit a valid email address and that you will be checking it periodically. Palm Discovery does not spam nor sell your email address for any reason. Should the drawn winner not respond to claim his prize within the alloted time specified, Palm Discovery will consider the winner to have forfeit his claim and re-draw another winner.

5 - To be eligible, entries must be received on or by the indicated deadline. No exceptions! So enter early to avoid missing the deadline due to technology delays, outages, etc. Don’t wait until the last minute.

6 - To enter, simply submit a comment to this posting only with your choice or choices for the prize(s). Comments left in other postings or elsewhere will NOT enter you in the contest. You will get 1 entry for the chosen prize(s) into the contest.

- Or, you can also drop a quick Palm Explorer Profile (see below for a sample format) (a brief “about me and my PDA/samrtphone device” with your name or alias, and something about your PDA/smartphone device and what you find great about it) and send it via the CONTACT FORM. You will get 4 additional entries (5 in all) if you submit a Palm Explorer Profile.

All these similar user experience submissions mentioned in #6 will be given 5 contest entries. If you have submitted a Palm Explorer Profile previously and wish to be entered in the contest, please indicate so in the comments and you will also be given 5 entries. This allows me to award the prize to those who wish to win it.

By submitting your Palm Explorer profile or other personal stories or tips, you agree to allow Palm Discovery the right to publish the submission in a future posting.

7 - Palm Discovery reserves the right to make any changes to the contest, its rules and prizes including its cancelation at any time (although it’s highly unlikely I will do so).
