The Prima Cases Premium Leather Cell Phone Style Case is made of premium Italian Aniline leather. The first thing you will notice about the case is that the open face design truly makes the Centro look so much better. Think of wrapping a border around the Centro, highlighting the beautiful face of the Centro and the buttons. This case does an excellent job of accenting the beauty of the Palm Centro smartphone. Let’s take a look at the case overall.
The front of the case has two main cutouts, one for the screen and one for the hardware and QWERTY buttons to allow easy access to both the screen and buttons. There are smaller cutouts for the internal antenna and LED light. The left side has a cutout for the side button and volume buttons. Turning to the back we’ll find a cutout for the Centro’s camera and mirror plus three small cutouts/slits for the back speaker. As well, there’s a place for the belt attachment screw/post should you wish to attach the swivel belt clip (included) to the case, enabling you to carry the case on your belt or pants. Turning to the side, we’ll find another cutout for the infrared port and microSD card slot. Flipping to the bottom, we find a cutout for the headphones and data/charging connectors. There are even side cutouts where you can still use a wrist strap/lanyard for the Centro without any obstruction. Turning finally to the top of the case, we find the snap closure almost near the middle of the case. This is a slight change in the design. In previous Prima Cases, the snap closure tend to be at the back of the case but in this particular case, the snap closure is right at the top. I think it works and it’s very nice to get a somewhat different design.
The inside lining has a brush like material that give a soft feel while keeping the Centro secured inside. The back of the case is fitted inside with a firm material that keeps the back firm and flat while the front has a a thicker, firmer leather to keep its shape. Both the front and back’s firmness helps the case keep its shape even when the Centro is not inside.

Prima introduces the PERFECT form fit case solution for Palm Centro!
Crafted in Premium Aniline Leather, this open face design allows easy access to all control surfaces, while protecting your device from daily use.
Its low profile enhances the shape and contours of the Centro, and with this great design, the spring loaded swivel belt clip (and post) can be removed to leave a completely flat back.

- beautiful open face design
- top snap closure easy to access
- removable swivel clip included in price
I Didn’t Like:
- removable swivel clip (my personal preference)
- case only comes in black color
Here are my observations:
I really like the design of the case. I’ve always found Prima Cases’ open face design to be a very well thought out design that showcases the beauty of the smartphone yet allow full access to the devices’ features. This design is another great example that does exactly that. The form fitting contours of the case really help highlight the slim factor of the Centro. I also like how Prima Cases has changed the snap closure to have it right at the top rather than at the back like previous cases. This shows that they are always trying to change things and try new designs and I think it works. I also like that the removable spring loaded swivel belt clip with attachment screw/post comes included in the case rather than costing extra for it.
One note, however, with regards to the removable belt clip as I always mention with any removable belt clips is that the screws for whatever reason may come out over time, possibly costing potential damage to my Treo. Keep in mind this is my personal experience and opinion as I’m sure many have not experienced such incidents. Unless you are able to securely keep the screw/post on the case and prevent such mishaps you may want to think about it.
My only quip about the case is that it’s only available in black and I’m sure especially for Centro owners that they may wish for a matching color case. One suggestion as I normally add is having a small pouch for expansion cards. Aside from these, I can’t have any complaints or suggestions about the case.
Prima Cases’ Premium Leather Cell Phone Style Case for the Palm Centro Smartphone is a very beautiful quality made leather case. Its open face design does a great job of showcasing the beauty of the Centro, accenting its slim contours without taking anything away. There are numerous cutouts all over the case allowing easy access to all of the Centro’s features. It also comes with a spring loaded removable swivel belt clip allowing you the ability to carry the Centro on your belt or pants or opt to carry it without one. Either way, you’ll look stylish and still have everything at your fingertips. The choice is yours. Check out the case at Prima Cases here or try your luck at winning one. Read on!
