Thanks for visiting Palm Discovery

It’s that time of the year when most of us are so busy with shopping lists, Christmas gifts, holiday shopping and everything else that we tend to forget about others that may need our help. By that, I mean others all over the world, the children from other countries that could greatly benefit from even a small donation. Especially this year when we are facing a global economic slowdown, I think it is much more important to make sure that we don’t forget to help others much worse than we are. That is why I try to make an extra effort to make sure that this year’s donation isn’t going to be less than previous years even though this year has been much tougher for me economically. I am thinking that the host change and the domain changes had severely impacted and negatively affected my website but I keep on. My goal has and will always be, to share provide information that will help others and I will make every effort to keep Palm Discovery running. Enough of my troubles, back to the topic at hand.
Every year around this time, I am going to tally up the money I receive from proceeds of affiliate accounts, calculate the fees that I will have to pay for next year plus other possible expenses for giveaway contests and other costs and will make a donation to a charity organization in Palm Discovery’s name. Previous years, I donated to Plan Canada but this year, I decided to donate to World Vision Canada.
Last year, $85 was donated to Plan Canada purchasing clean water for a child, pigs for a family and a birth registation. In 2006, $20 was donated to Plan Canada. This year, thanks to your generous support, Palm Discovery has donated $90 to purchase the following gifts:
- 2 hens and a rooster
- 2 rabbits
WOW! You have helped made a difference to others all over the world simply by supporting Palm Discovery. Again, these are not huge donations but Palm Discovery isn’t a big or popular website, and it’s still much better than not making any donation. I am only glad to have done this on behalf of all Palm Discovery readers and supporters. Thanks, everyone!.
