Tamoggemon Releases TimeDrift To Keep Clocks Accurate

Tam Hanna has created a new program for the Palm OS Treos and Centros called Time Drift which helps reset the device’s clock after every reset.

Tamoggemon TimeDrift – keep your Centro’s / Treo’s clock accurate

Don’t ask us why a bean counter at Palm’s decided to eliminate the dedicated reset button from all smartphones released after the 680/700p – users pay the bill by having to adjust their devices clock every time they have to reset their handhelds.

Tamoggemon TimeDrift continues where Palm’s engineers left off: it implements a custom algorithm tailored to the drifting behaviour of the RTCs found in Palm’s devices. Its unique strength is its ability to work without a network connection – when travelling abroad, no roaming charges are accrued!

TimeDrift works well with Treo 680/700p/755p and Centro devices. After installation, time drifts are a matter of the past – install it, and forget your Treo’s clock…

The program can be purchased at MobiHand’s and PalmGear’s (*) for 9.95$, an introductory discount (valid for two weeks) brings the program down to 7.95$. The product’s evaluation version works for 30 days and can be obtained at www.tamoggemon.com/palmos/tidr/index.html.
