Nokia World 2010 Event Sept 14 2010

First of all, yes, I know I’m a bit late on this, but I have an excuse. I was not aware of it until the morning of September 14th when I got an email from Lydia of Womworld asking whether I got my “package” yet. Of course, then, I realized that it wasn’t possible that I would get my package since I have moved and I didn’t give them my current address. So, I emailed her back about it and she was kind enough to re-direct the package to my current address. How very nice of her.

So today, just moments ago, I finally received my package. Boy, was it something! It was a virtual event package containing items that you’d normally get when you attend these kinds of technology events in person, except I’m a “virtual” attendee and getting the swag to make me feel just as if I were actually there. Cool!

Everything was put inside a black cloth bag with white letters: “Let’s all get together” Nokia World 2010 events.nokia.com/nokiaworld

Inside the bag there’s a baby blue t-shirt with white letters: Nokia World 2010 Virtual Attendee and designed like a shirt and tie. Very cute. There’s a bundle of blue and red 3D paper glasses and a black neck strap with a Nokia World Virtual Attendee pass and a name tag holder with a note:

“Hello!

This is your Nokia World virtual event attendee pack, so you can enjoy the keynote on Tuesday 14th from the comfort of your own sofa!

All you need to do is visit www.events.nokia.com/nokiaworld at 0900hrs (BST) on the 14th, and join in the experience with those at the live event in London. After the keynote, there’ll also be other activities, so make yourself comfy, settle back & enjoy.

[The 3D glasses, as I've shown in the Youtube video is for a special "Backstage" access showing the three new Nokia smartphones in 3D. Click on the lightbulb (with the "idea" word in the filaments) at the bottom of the events.nokia.com/nokiaworld and you'll be taken to a "Backstage" page. Login with the backstage access code: backstage and you'll be able to view the 3D rendering of the smartphones and videos. ]
