Does anyone know how to convert .pwi files to .txt on a Win7 operating system. Trying to load them into Word 2007 or notebook just produces gibberish with no recognisable text.

Thanks

Hi, HAL! From what I see, it looks like you have the option of logging into your Audible account from an existing Amazon.com account login or an official Audible.com account. If you have neither set up, you can register and create one. As far as I'm aware of there is never *any pressure* to sign up for a monthly $14.95 subscription if you don't want to. You can simply create and sign up for an account and buy audiobooks (or in your case, get free ones that I've linked to) any time you wish. Some people simply buy audiobooks whenever they want without a subscription because $14.95 a month can be quite pricey.

I've logged into Audible via both ways: Amazon.com and Audible.com and since I have a subscription on my Audible, everything is what I normally see, but when I log in via Amazon, it looks like they create a new account that doesn't have any subscriptions or any of the books I've purchased. So, if you are comfortable with setting things up on your Amazon.com account, then go ahead but keep in mind that they are two separate entities still (probably will merge someday) and books purchased on one account won't translate and show up on the other account. So for me, I will keep using my Audible account since I've got so many books there already. Hope that clears it up for you.

Hello, May! I have a question regarding Audible, cause the website itself doesn't illustrate me. I don't have an Audible account, cause I don't feel like paying regularly for such a service. If I try to download the book, it automatically identifies the data I input when I signed up at Amazon. My question is: will then an Audible account be created for me, with the corresponding due bill at the end of the month?
